To me, paganism is a spirituality that makes the most sense to me. It’s an umbrella term for a lot of polytheistic or nature-based religions, like Wicca. It helps me connect to nature and myself in a way that feels more real and grounded than anything else I’ve experienced. Paganism is a category of religions that is defined more by what it doesn't include than by what it is. You can find pagans that have essentially nothing in common with each other, except the fact that they are spiritual/religious but not part of the biggest main world religions, particularly the monotheist ones Some will say pagan religions are all nature-based, but I don't think that's totally accurate. Some will say they're all polytheistic, but I can think of a few notable exceptions. So really, if all you know about someone is that they're pagan, you don't know a whole lot, except for what they're not. You need more information to know what their actual religion is and what they do or believe. It could be almost anything – or well almost. I suppose.
