Philosophy of Ethics

Ethics (also called Moral Philosophy), the discipline concerned with what is morally good and bad and morally right and wrong. Most if not all of us have them and we know right from wrong for the most part at least. So since the whole point of ethics is to figure out what is right and wrong, good and bad, virtuous and vicious, and so on. This i important. Ethics encompasses the principles and values that guide individual and collective behavior, helping to distinguish between right and wrong conduct within various contexts, such as personal relationships, business practices, and societal norms. It prompts us to consider not only our intentions but also the consequences of our actions on others and the environment. Ethical frameworks, such as utilitarianism, deontology, and virtue ethics, provide different lenses through which to evaluate our decisions, emphasizing the importance of integrity, fairness, and responsibility. In a rapidly changing world, ethical considerations are increasingly crucial, as they challenge us to navigate complex dilemmas and foster a culture of respect, compassion, and accountability. Ultimately, the pursuit of ethical behavior encourages us to strive for a just society, where the rights and dignity of all individuals are upheld. Being ethical involves adhering to principles of morality and righteousness, guiding your actions and decisions in a way that respects the rights and well-being of others. Mandela's life and legacy serve as a powerful example of ethical leadership, demonstrating how one person's commitment to ethical principles can bring about significant positive change in society. Now I'm not saying you have to be like this I'm just giving some small examples on what an ethical person would be in my eyes.
